How to configure the NVR ?


(Make sure that everything is connected to the DVR (router, monitor, and mouse)

STEP 1: On the NVR: 

Go to MAIN MENU by pressing the right click of the mouse. Click the SETTINGS, then NETWORK. (DEFAULT IP: 192.168.1.108 -  DEFAULT GATEWAY: 192.168.1.1)

• Enable the DHCP then SAVE the settings and RESTART the NVR. (Note:  if DHCP is highlighted, it means enabled)

•After the NVR has restarted, go to MAIN MENU by pressing the right click of the mouse. Click the SETTINGS, then NETWORK.

• Check the I.P. ADDRESS and GATEWAY (local I.P. address of your router, and the default gateway) assigned. Copy it in a paper because you will need it later.

• Disable the DHCP and save the settings done.

       STEP 2:  On the Computer:

• Make sure that there is an internet connection on the computer.

• Open the INTERNET EXPLORER browser, then Type the IP ADDRESS first, and GATEWAY in the address bar then press  ENTER

• Provide the USERNAME and PASSWORD of the router   (Notice: every router has a unique/default username and password), then LOGIN.


THESE ARE THE DEFAULT USERNAME AND PASSWORD
 

 


•  Explore the router’s menu (Notice: it could be on the left side, top or bottom 
depending on the brand of your router).
•  Advance setting or application and gaming.
• Find either one of the following:
VIRTUAL SERVER, FORWARDING, PORT FORWARDING or PORT RANGE FORWARDING.
• After port forwarding the local IP, go to DMZ and click ENABLE to apply the two or three digit of your local IP. And the last you're now going to DISABLED the firewall.
• Add the NVR’s Local IP address (from Step 2 – with default PORTS: (HTTP) 80, (TCP) 37777, (UDP) 37778.


• Save the settings.
• Go back to router’s menu. To find either one of the following: WAN, INTERNET 
CONFIGURATION OR INTERNET CONNECTION. Take note the I.P. Address, this is now 
your PUBLIC I.P. (Note: you will use this I.P. address whenever you want to view your CCTV, but this will only work on the INTERNET EXPLORER browser only)

 STEP 3 – Local or Remote Viewing:

•   Open INTERNET EXPLORER browser, on the MENU BAR (located at the uppermost part) 
open TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS then SECURITY and lastly CUSTOM LEVEL.

NET framework
XALM browser applications
XPS document
NET framework-reliant components
Run components not signed with Authenticode,
ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Allow previously unused ActiveX controls
 Allow scriptlets
Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
 Binary and script
Display video and animation on a webpage
