DVR and Mobile Configuration

                                     

              This article will guide you through the Configuration  of old version of DVR.

STEP 0 – Make sure that everything is connected to the DVR (router, monitor, and mouse)

STEP 1– On the DVR:

 Go to MAIN MENU by pressing the right click of the mouse. Click the SETTINGS, then NETWORK. (DEFAULT IP: 192.168.1.108 -  DEFAULT GATEWAY: 192.168.1.1)

 Enable the DHCP then save the settings and restart the DVR. (Note:  if DHCP is highlighted, it means enabled)

After the DVR has restarted, go to MAIN MENU by pressing the right click of the mouse. Click the SETTINGS, then NETWORK.

 Check the I.P. ADDRESS and GATEWAY (local I.P. address of your router, and the default gateway) assigned. Copy it in a paper because you will need it later.

 Disable the DHCP and save the settings done.

STEP 2 – On the computer:

Make sure that there is an internet connection on the computer.

Open the INTERNET EXPLORER browser, then type the IP ADDRESS first, and GATEWAY in the address bar then pressesENTER.

       Provide the USERNAME and PASSWORD of the router   (Notice: every router has a unique/default username and password), thenLOGIN.

 Explore the router’s menu (Notice: it could be on the left side, top or bottom depending on the brand of your router).

 Advance setting or application and gaming

 Find either one of the following:

VIRTUAL SERVERFORWARDINGPORT FORWARDING or PORT RANGE FORWARDING

 After port forwarding the local IP, go to DMZ and click ENABLE to apply the two or three digit of your local IP. And the last you're now going to DISABLED the firewall

  Add the DVR’s Local IP address (from Step 2 – with default PORTS: (HTTP) 80, (TCP) 37777, (UDP) 37778.

   Save the settings.

 Go back to router’s menu. To find either one of the following: WANINTERNET CONFIGURATION OR INTERNET CONNECTION. Take note the I.P. Address, this is now your PUBLIC I.P. (Note: you will use this I.P. address whenever you want to view yourCCTV, but this will only work on the INTERNET EXPLORER browser only)

STEP 3 – Local or Remote Viewing:

 Open INTERNET EXPLORER browser, on the MENU BAR (located at the uppermost part) open TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS then SECURITY and lastly CUSTOM LEVEL.

 From the top ENABLE THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS

  NET framework

 XALM browser applications

        XPS document

 NET framework-reliant components

  Run components not signed with Authenticode,

        ActiveX controls and plug-ins

  Allow previously unused ActiveX controls

        Allow scriptlets

  Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls

        Binary and script

        Display video and animation on a webpage

 

PROMPT THE 3 TYPES FOR BLOCKING WEB SERVICE

 1.) Download signed and ActiveX controls

 2.) Download unsigned and ActiveX controls.

3) Initialized and script ActiveX Controls. ENABLE THE OTHER SETTINGS select the following > Only allow approved domains to used activeX w/out prompt, Run activeX controls and plug-ins, Script activeX controls marked safe for scripting*, File Download, Font Download, Enabled.Net Framework Setup.

  •Until Enable .NET Framework setup (if your OS is Windows 7) or Font Download (if your OS is Windows XP) or right before theMiscellaneous.

 •  Save all the settings done.

 •  In the address bar, type the I.P address (from Step 2) or the Public I.P. address (from step 3) and press ENTER.

 •    After hitting ENTERWEB SERVICE will appear and ask for the USERNAME and PASSWORD (default username: admin, default password: admin) of the DVR then click LOGIN.

    •   Click OPEN ALL to view all the CCTV cameras.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 FOR IPHONE/IPOD/MOBILE W/ANDROID

 •    Go to your appstore and download the iDMSS lite/gDMSS lite.

 • Open it in Device Manager then configure your Local IP and Public IP address.

 Device Manager > click “Add”

Name: Any name

Address/server IP: Local IP or Public IP

Port: 37777

Username: admin

Password: admin

Channel: 16 (ok to change into 4ch, 8ch, 16ch,)

 

   After configuring your IP address click “ save “ then go to “home “

     Open “Realtime Monitor “then select window plus signed.

   Click your name with Cameras numbers.
